Katie Learns Her Name

Underwood Family Farms

We took the kids to Underwood Family Farms over the weekend and they loved it. David, Katie, and Andy took the cart to the strawberry fields. Tracey and I were too eager to start picking that we ran over.

Katie loved eating the strawberries and there were so many around her. She kept pointing to them for David to feed her. I think they might be her favorite fruit.

This is the stash we took home. Of course when we got home we realized we probably should've bought more.

Tracey's Graduation

Katie actually was pretty good at Tracey's graduation. She just sat there and looked bored but at least she wasn't crying like the other babies around her. Auntie Tracey is this much closer to moving to Irvine now.

Is Katie Break Dancing?

Katie always asks me to play music from my cell phone and every time I do she starts dancing. Her dancing is quite interesting. It looks like she is actually break dancing. I'm not sure where she learned these moves.

Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off

We went to the Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off and it was great. You pay $1 a ticket and you get a bowl of chili for each ticket. There were lots of vendors. Katie loved just walking around.

The fair was packed. There were so many people it was crazy.

We got a free sticker tatoo for Katie. When I put it on her she did not like it at all. She kept gesturing and pointing at it and wouldn't stop until I took it off.

Even after I took it completely off her Katie went and got a towel to wipe her arm just in case there were any bits remaining.

JP Comes for a Play Date

James, Lily, and JP came for a play date with Katie. The kids had a blast playing with each other. JP loved playing with toys he'd never seen and Katie loved following him around. Afterwards we took the kids to the park.

JP learned the Jai Ho dance when James and Lily were practicing it for his brother's wedding. JP was quite good! Katie tried to join in the dancing but she wasn't as good as JP.

Yum Yum

Katie loves food and she knows where to find it. She knows yum yum comes from the cupboard, refrigerator, or counter and is constantly asking for some.

Jim and Jocelyn's House

Jim had the cutest little chair so I had to put Katie on it to get a picture. Of course she wouldn't cooperate and look at the camera.

Swimming 5-24-09

Last year when we took Katie swimming she didn't last 5 minutes in the pool because she hated it so much. This year she loved it! We're going to have to take her back again.
