Jeffrey's Wedding 6-24-12

We came to Portland for Jeffrey's wedding. It was at the Gold Garden Restaurant.

When we walked into the restaurant there was this table with all these toys. Apparently the owner's son plays in the restaurant and these were his toys. The kids of course wanted to go play with the toys and the owner was nice enough to let them.

David and Jeffrey.

David, his mom, and his aunt.

David's mom, Andrew, Jeffrey, and the kids.

The happy couple.

The food was so good!

Congratulations to Jeffrey and Leslie!!

Top Pot Doughnuts & Papa Pete's Pizza

We went to visit Jeremy & Eunice on our last day in Seattle. The kids had a blast playing with Naomi and Elijah. Justin fell in love with this motorcycle.

On our way down to Portland we stopped by Top Pot Doughnuts for a snack.

The drive down to Oregon was particularly brutal because of all the rain in Seattle. The kids couldn't handle the long drive and we had to just make a stop to give them a break and ended up at Papa Pete's Pizza. It was surprisingly good. We got David's favorite bbq chicken.

The Museum of Flight 6-22-12

Our first day in Seattle was pouring. We went to Pike's Place Market. First stop some tiny donuts.

These donuts were just the right size for the kids.

For lunch we went to Beecher's Handmade Cheese. We got a Flagship sandwich and the kids got the "world's best" mac & cheese.

Here are the workers making the famous cheese.

After lunch we were off to The Museum of Flight. On the way there Justin fell asleep in the car. So we sat in the parking lot while he took his nap. Katie got comfortable on the floor and played with David's iphone.

Justin magnified his face for us.

The control tower.

If only the kids would sleep like this in our house!

Leaving for Seattle 6-21-12

As I was trying to pack I found Justin had set up camp on my luggage! He even lined it with blankets and brought some friends with him.

David was the winner on the plane. He got sandwiched between the two kids. Hehe.

After we landed we were starving because it was 2 o'clock and we hadn't had lunch yet. First we had to get our rental car and finally we made it out to get some food. We went to Burgerville because I was dying to try it. It was sooooo good but keep in mind we were starving at this point.

David got the special pepper bacon cheeseburger.

I got the tillamook cheeseburger with asparagus fries.

You only get 5 pieces of asparagus.

We got the kids the seasonal strawberry lemonade.

David enjoying his burger.

Katie's Drawing

JP's Birthday Party 6-10-12

Katie and Justin were so excited to go to JP's birthday party. That is how I got them to behave the entire week. When they started to be bad I'd tell them bad kids don't get to go to JP's birthday party. That set them straight instantly.

Is this the birthday boy? Nope, it's his younger brother Max.

This was clearly the boys table at the party.

This guy came to the park with a HUMONGOUS pizza box. Just look at him carry it on his head.

When he set it down I quickly took a picture of it. This pizza is huge!! I need to get this for my family.

James even hired someone to make balloon animals for the kids. She was Lily's sister Jody! She's so talented she could whip out a balloon animal in a matter of seconds. She was probably the most popular attraction at the party. Random kids started lining up to get a balloon from her.
