We took the kids to a Dodgers game on Sunday and every kid got a free helmet that day. Justin is ready for action! If he had a bat in his hand it would look like he was ready to hit the ball.
Final Score: Dodgers 2, Brewers 0

Strawberry Picking at Tanaka Farms 4-17-13
Today was the kids annual strawberry picking field trip at Tanaka Farms. Here is Katie with her friend Maiya.
This was Justin's first field trip ever.
Having a snack before the difficult task of picking strawberries.
We were very lucky that both kids classrooms went on the field trip on the same day. And with a little maneuvering we got the two kids on the same tractor even though they aren't in the same classroom.
While on the tractor they handed out some fresh veggies for the kids to try. Katie is munching on a carrot.
Justin didn't really like his bok choy uncooked.
Finally we arrived at the strawberry fields. Justin is pointing out a big red strawberry ripe for the picking!
I told the kids to look at me with their goods and this is what I got. Justin covering his face with his box of strawberries.

Farewell Aulani 4-8-13
On our last day we had breakfast on our patio.
Every day you go to the pool you get a new colored wrist band. They are like badges of honor. We saw people with 5+ colored bands on their arms. We were very envious of how long they stayed here.
Goodbye Aulani and Hawaii! We had loads of fun here. Hopefully we will come again soon.

Day Two at Aulani 4-7-13
We took the kids to Aunty's Beach House in the morning. You can check your kids in and leave them here while you enjoy some fun in the sun alone. After touring the open house we decided to take the kids with us. Maybe if we were here longer we would make use of this drop off program.
The kids were finally willing to take a picture with Mickey Mouse!
Katie is participating in the Menehune Adventure Trail. This is a scavenger hunt in the resort. She was a little too young for this activity because after looking for 2 items she gave up and said she wanted to go back into the pool.
When Justin was tired of the pool this is how he past the time, playing with my iphone.
On our way out to dinner our door knob fell off! We had to call the front desk to tell them we needed to make our dinner reservations and our door knob broke. Luckily by the time we got back we had a new door knob.
We had dinner at Monkeypod Kitchen. The kids shared the king kong burger.
David got the fresh island fish sandwich.
I got the fresh fish and chips. The pictures don't do the food justice. I know it doesn't look that good but it really was tasty!
