Our very last meal in Taiwan was at a teppan place called Chamonix. This was the very first time we took the kids to a teppan place and we thought they would enjoy watching the chef cooking the food in front of them. They weren't as impressed as we thought they would be.

Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall 4-21-14
On our last day in Taiwan we took the kids to see the changing of the guards at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. They both really enjoyed it.

Taipei Zoo 4-20-14
Katie kept talking about night markets and stinky tofu and Justin kept talking about seeing the pandas in Taiwan. So of course we had to take him to see the panda.
Justin loved watching the panda eat bamboo. He thought it was so funny they way it was eating.
Of course they both had to come home with their very own pandas!
After lunch with David's family we took the kids to the many play areas in the mall. Justin scored big time winning a whooping 300 tickets in one shot!
Of course when all the kids saw this they immediately began playing this same machine in hopes of scoring big too.

Din Tai Fung 4-19-14
No trip to Taiwan would be complete without a stop at Din Tai Fung. As we waited for our number Justin got a little hungry and tried to eat the dumpling's hand!
We were smart we got there early. Our wait was maybe 15 minutes or less. When we were done eating it was a different story. The wait at 6 pm was 60 minutes! So glad we got there early.

Tomato Picking 4-18-14
In America we go strawberry or cherry picking. In Taiwan they have tomato picking. The tomatoes in Taiwan are super sweet!
Justin loved the tomatoes in Taiwan. At home he won't eat anything with tomatoes but in Taiwan he was popping them in his mouth like candy!
The kids loved playing with this king sized chess table.
They had a really big chess table but a teeny tiny pool table that was just the right size for the kids.
Somehow we ended up at the exact same dumpling place for lunch that we had the last time we came to the hot springs even though we stayed at a different resort.
The kids hard at work on their ipads after a long day.
