Strawberry Picking at Tanaka Farms 3-24-14

This was the annual strawberry picking field trip at the kids' school. It was very sad for us because this is Katie's last field trip at her preschool. Luckily for us both the kids classes went on the same day again.

 

Happy 4th Birthday Justin: Part 2

We were very surprised at Justin's birthday celebration at school. This was the first time that we saw a classroom sing happy birthday in Mandarin where even the non-Chinese students could sing a few of the lyrics.

I can't believe my baby is four years old! They grow up too fast!

 

9 Year Anniversary 3-12-14

We came to Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ for our 3 year anniversary after we had Katie and 6 years later we were back here again with two kids in tow for our 9 year anniversary. At least this time the kids could sit and feed themselves.

Katie took this picture for us. Not bad for a 6 year old. We tried to get her to center us but it just didn't happen.

 

California Science Center 2-23-14

David really wanted to take the train so we took the kids to the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Here we are waiting for the train while we had breakfast.

We should have brought cards to play with on our train ride. Next time we will be better prepared.

Do I have an architect in the family?

The kids thoroughly enjoyed their lunch from McDonalds.

Every time we go somewhere and see a rock climbing wall David always tries to get Katie to do it. I think he is trying to relive his glory days through her. She always says no but this time she actually said yes! And to our amazement she actually did it too!! We were so proud of her.

As we were waiting for our train back to Orange County we heard wedding music and realized there was a wedding ceremony happening right in front of us! You see all sorts of interesting things in Los Angeles.

Legoland California with Auntie Loan's Family 2-9-14

We met my sister at Legoland California so the kiddies could play together. This was Max and Mia's first time at Legoland. They had a lot of fun together!
