Don't mess with me...I'm loaded. I've got two guns and I'm not afraid to use them.

Justin and Baby
Justin absolutely loves this baby doll. I got it for Katie when Justin first came out, but he seems to be more attached to it than Katie. Whenever he sees it he has to hold it and give it hugs.
Malibu Triathlon 9-17-11
For the first time ever David participated in a triathlon. It was a three man team and David did the bicycling part. Here he is warming up.
The runners and the bikers get to chill while they wait for the swimmers. For those of you who know Dexter he made a cameo in the background.
And here comes the swimmer now. This guy is an ex-national swimmer for the Thai Olympic team.
David is finally off with a running start.
Dexter made it to the finish line.
And so did David's runner Jonathan.

Hanging at Grandparent's House
The kids loved "playing" xbox with uncle Andy.
And Justin had a blast taking a walk with grandpa and grandma.

Broadcom Family Day 9-16-11
We took the kids to Broadcom's annual family day event and they had a blast. First stop was the train ride around the parking lot.

Here she is standing in line for this huge jumper slide.
She is making the long trek up.
And down she comes.
There was even a little carousel at the event. Too bad Justin didn't meet the height requirement. I don't know why there was a height requirement when they let parents stand next to the kids so they don't fall.
Katie loves hula hoops. Too bad she doesn't know what to do with them. She just likes to stand inside it.
Both their balloon animals popped so I had to stand in the long lines and get them new ones.
Here is Justin holding Katie's orange giraffe and his green dinosaur. The two balloon animals look suspiciously the same.
Finally Katie is willing to go inside jumpers and have fun.

Mommy's New Toy
I've been lusting after a Kitchen Aid stand mixer ever since I was a little girl. Alright maybe not that long but for quite some time now. And finally at long last it has appeared in my kitchen! Isn't it beautiful.
The very first thing created by it was banana bread. And it came out wonderfully. I don't know if it was the recipe or the mixer but this bread was much better than the other banana bread I made with my regular old hand mixer.

Pretend City Children's Museum 9-5-11
For my birthday we took the kids to Pretend City Children's Museum. The kids had a blast here. There are a bunch of different play stations where they can expend all their energy.
Justin and Katie absolutely love to play cooking so they loved the kitchen here.
Justin felt so at home in this kitchen that he just plopped himself down right next to this little girl. He had no reservations about intruding on her space. I'm not so sure she felt the same way as you can tell by the look on her face.
The kids also loved the Ralphs grocery store here. What can I say my kids love food, real or fake!
Justin did not like playing doctor. He started pulling off his organs by himself.
And then he just had a meltdown. I guess he didn't like seeing his insides.
For dinner we celebrated at Red Robin. I can't remember the name of this drink but it was good!

We are having a nice family dinner and Katie is serving us! Oh wait, that's not us it's another family that Justin has decided to join.
