Justin is a Mechanic

Justin would see David pumping air into the tires of our bikes before we would take the kids for a ride. So one day I found him using this toy and pumping it like David does. It's so funny the things they do and how they copy us.

Home Grown Tomatoes

This summer we decided to plant some tomatoes. And they actually grew!

When the tomatoes were ripe I knew exactly what I was going to do with them. 

Make some yummy bun rieu! Here are all the ingredients I used.

Threw the tomatoes in some water to make the soup.

Cooked up some eggs.

Combined it with the tomatoes and soup.

And voila we had bun rieu for dinner which just happens to be Katie's favorite noodle dish.

I am very impressed with Katie's preschool. She is already reading some words and books on her own and now she is practicing writing words in cursive.
