As expected there were legos everywhere in the hotel which was nice because it kept the kids busy.
We get to our room and immediately something is wrong with Justin. He will not go in and he kept saying he wanted to go home to sleep. After much prodding I finally learned that he didn't like the angry eyes on the pillows! So I had to turn all the pillows around so that he couldn't see them.
Katie absolutely LOVED the bunk beds. She kept bugging to get bunk beds for her room at home. I told her if she could persuade Justin to sleep in it it was a done deal. She failed!
The kids had a television in their room which they loved.
This was Justin crying when we first got into the room. He didn't even want to look at the pillows.
All of the decorations in the room were made out of legos!
They even provide each room with a box of legos for the kids to play.
There is a mini scavenger hunt and when you finish it you unlock the treasure chest in your room to discover your treasure.
There is even a mini peep hole that is kid height for the kids to look out the door.
Justin loved this whoopi cushion downstairs in the lobby. When you jump on it it makes a farting noise.
We took the kids miniature golfing for the first time. Katie actually enjoyed it. Justin was probably too small still.
They eventually got bored. There were like 18 holes!
This trip was like a whole new amusement park for Katie now that she is six. She went on so many new rides. I was a little worried about Project X since it was really high and really fast but surprisingly Katie loved it.
I don't have a zoom on my camera (ahem!) but that is David and Katie on the ride.
The kids absolutely loved the Legoland hotel and it was very kid friendly. They designed everything very well and clearly had little ones in mind.
