Family Time and Night Market 4-13-14

Justin was so tired that he fell asleep during the entire lunch! Luckily we made a make shift bed for him so that he could sleep comfortably.

Katie first learned of night markets in Taiwan from her Chinese school summer camp. Apparently one of the themes in the summer is night market and they have games and prizes and even stinky tofu! They told me she ate the stinky tofu and she told me she liked it. So before even leaving for Taiwan she kept saying she was so excited for the night markets and stinky tofu. Of course what really happened was a different story. We go to the night markets and Katie is not prepared for all the smells and sights of a real night market, one that was not in her nice clean school. As we walked the food stalls Katie had her nose pinched the entire time that some of the food vendors were smiling or laughing! Needless to say she did not eat stinky tofu or anything else there. She did, however, play the games there. Here is her loot!
